Our Winter Photo Contest on Instagram challenged our fans’ photography skills and creativity and we can certainly say, you guys didn’t hold back! With so many fantastic entries to choose from, it was tough for the DOUGLAS panel of judges to pick only two! Of course, you all helped with the fan judged category and we’re so enthused to have been able to collaborate with you in that way. Without further ado, let’s announce our winners!

With the highest number of likes, basil.kat‘s charming photo of Rusty the Calico Tortie Cat has been awarded 1st place in our fan judged category! Wearing a dapper holiday bowtie, this furry feline is paws-itively irresistible!
Fan Favorite 2nd Place
Second place fan favorite goes to __teakinz__‘s picture of Kenzie the Long Haired Dachshund peering out from a collection of pine boughs and cones. What better way to decorate for the holidays than a handsome display of winter greenery? Kenzie’s soft, brown coat pairs beautifully with the evergreen color!

We fell in love with keepingupwiththekaiju‘s adorable shot of Luisa the Axolotl writing her letter to Santa and are excited to award it 1st place. Luisa wishes for a best friend and has doodled an illustration of her ideal BFF. Will Santa come through and make Luisa’s wish come true?

Brimming with holiday whimsy, beccablue329‘s entry takes 2nd place! A strand of colorful holiday lights becomes a nest for Pepper the Hen’s clutch of eggs. Decked out in a festive red and white cape, she watches over her eggs with care.
