In November Douglas Cuddle Toy celebrated National Reading Month with a contest to win Clifford the Big Red Dog stuffed animal. Reading is such an important activity for children and adults. Such wonderful memories of the Douglas Toy window box in front of the Colony Mill in the 1960s. My grandfather owned the mill then, and our favorite thing to do when visiting was to go look at that widow display. All my daughters have Douglas Toys and so will any future grandchildren!
I’m entering, because I love reading, as do my kids and husband, and we will celebrate reading this November (ok, we do it every day 😉 ) My kids had a Clifford, but gave it away 3 years ago, to a baby- they would be tickled if we won one.
